Tarka means logic, reasoning, the structured argument. Shila means stone, the foundation everything is built on.
The name is the method. We believe most software fails not in the interface but in the reasoning underneath it: the data model that couldn't hold, the assumption that broke at scale, the decision made for a deadline that cost years. So we start where it matters: get the logic right, lay the foundation, and let the product stand on something that lasts.
That's an unusual place to begin. Most teams start with screens. We start with the argument for why the system should exist and what has to be true for it to work. The interface is the surface. The architecture is the product.
Who we are
Unlike most agencies, we design, build, and operate our own products. That changes everything about how we work: we've felt the cost of every shortcut, because we're the ones who maintain it.
We've shipped and maintained products across India, Kenya, and Tanzania. We know what breaks in production because we're the ones on call when it does.
No account managers, no hand-offs to juniors. The person you speak with is the person building your system.
Every system is documented, explainable, and written for the next engineer, not just the current deadline.
We do a few things at a level we can sustain, and we say no to the rest. Focus is the only way to keep the standard.
